This record is in excellent condition. It has only a few faint spindle marks visible on the labels and no pen marks, scuffs or any other damage such as stains or fading. The centres are not loose or worn and overall the labels are clean, bright and in excellent condition.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides appear really clean with very little showing in normal light and certainly nothing obvious. It has a vivid lustre and has certainly not been played a great deal. There is however a few lines and minor marks evident when inspected very closely.
Firstly there is a tiny mark(2mm) around halfway into track 1 on side 1. This can be felt to touch and although very small is the most serious issue on the record. Other than this tiny mark/spot there is also a thin and faint line travelling vertically through track 2 on side 1. This is very faint and cannot be felt.
Overall the vinyl is excellent visually with these lines/marks mentioned above being hard to see and the vinyl is generally really clean.
I play tested the record and it played very nicely overall, with the majority of the audio having excellent clarity. It does however have a few problems to mention.
Firstly it must have some degree of warping to it. This is not noticeable to look at it but when playing the record arm raises a little on both sides. This is not huge and of course does not cause jumps and it plays through without extra weight needed, but is a slight visual issue.
The other issue is that the small mark mentioned above in track 1 on side 1 causes around 15-20 tics. These do sound as they occur in a quiet passage of audio. Luckily they pass fairly swiftly however and the audio then continues in excellent fashion.
There is then a further set of tics around halfway into track 2. These are incredibly faint however and only sound really softly due to the mellow nature of the audio. These last for around 20 seconds and although not ideal are also not hugely disruptive.
The audio as a whole(side 2 plays much closer to NrM with no stand out issues other than a few splutters for roughly 10 seconds around 5 minutes in) has great clarity with minimal surface noise or spluttering. The album other these two periods(on side 1) sounds great with audio closer to EX+.
It is graded at 'EX' however due to the mild warping and the two sets of tics as mentioned.
It includes its original plain white/blue Decca poly-lined inner which is in excellent+ condition. This has no splits, tears or pen marks and only light signs of handling.
