CLINT EASTWOOD SINGS COWBOY FAVORITES
This is a VERY RARE album of cowboy songs sung by movie tough guy, oscar winning actor/director CLINT EASTWOOD. This record album is on the Cameo label (C-1056) MONO and was featured on The Tonite Show. Mr. Eastwood was a guest on the show and Jay Showed him this album. They were both joking about it and JAY LENO SAID HE PAID $500.00 FOR HIS COPY!!!!. They played one cut on the show (Don't Fence Me In). Mr. Eastwood was playing ROWDY YATES on the popular TV show RAWHIDE when he made the album. He said it was defenitely NOT his idea but he had contractual obligations to make the record.
This album is in very good condition. Shows general wear but plays through. The jacket is bright and glossy, edges have some wear, and there is a notch on the top right edge. No splits or rips or tape. This a very nice album which is even more remarkable when you consider that this record was released in 1963, 44 years ago!!! Songs are all sung by Clint and include: BOUQUET OF ROSES, ALONG THE SANTE FE TRAIL, THE LAST ROUNDUP, SIERRA NEVADA, MEXACALI ROSE, SEARCHING FOR SOMEWHERE, I'LL LOVE YOU MORE, TUMBLING TUMBLEWEEDS, TWILIGHT ON THE TRAIL, SAN ANTONIO ROSE, DONT FENCE ME IN, ARE YOU SATISFIED
This record is a very unique item of Eastwood memorabilia and is a must have for any serious collector. Not many of these to be had. In fact after a very lengthy search of the internet I found exactly ONE of this album and you are looking at it!!!! GOOD LUCK bidding.
