This record is in near mint condition. It has just one or two very faint spindle marks visible on each label and no pen marks, scuffs or fading anywhere. The centres show minor wear and are not loose or worn. Overall the labels are in great shape with little to report and no major issues at all.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are beautifully clean and are near enough spotless in normal light. There is a few very light thin wispy lines visible under very bright white light but not many and of course nothing remotely sinister. The record has no nasty scuffs, serious marks or blemishes and has a lovely vivid lustre.
I play tested the record and it plays really well. It lays flat, there is no movement in the record arm and the sound produced is superb throughout. Its crisp, defined and very clear with little interference audible and no serious issues. There is a hint of surface noise in the run in and very occasionally a minor amount between some songs but the vast majority is surface noise free and of high quality. There are no skips, sticks or clicks and no pops or any other serious issues. Overall it was a thoroughly enjoyable play test and produced audio of high quality with of course no major issues to report.
The sleeve is in very good+ condition. It has wear and rubbing to the edges and corners but the writing along the spine is still just about legible. There are no splits or weak areas anywhere but the sleeve does have this rubbing as I say. This is mainly on the top and bottom edge but there is some all round. Other than the edge wear there are no major faults such as tears, scuffs or pen marks anywhere. There is however some strange faint 'mottling' over much of the front. This can be seen in normal light but is more noticeable when angled. Inside the gatefold is clean, bright and has no major issues, while the rear has light fading in places but nothing drastic. Overall a solid sleeve with no major issues but one that isnt perfect with mottling, edge wear and general wear as mentioned. I have tried to capture the sleeves issues as best I can in the pictures provided so please study these to gain as much information as possible.
It includes its original plain white poly-lined inner in excellent condition with no splits, tears or pen marks but minor ring marks, light creasing and some discolouring/grubbiness in places.
Also included is a single sided bonus 7" of the main theme to the film. This is in near mint condition and plays great throughout. It has a vivid gloss and shows minimal sign of use. The original blue sleeve is also in great shape with this.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
