Description
Well if you're reading this, you probably know how MEGARARE this 45 is! And yes, it is one of the rarest Punk / Oi / Skinhead records in existence - almost The Holy Grail of 45s. Furthermore, this copy is in extraordinary condition and has been in my personal collection since release back in 1977. As you probably know, the Picture Sleeve was only available with the Demo version (as here), and when it was officially released, there was no picture sleeve. Serious bidders only please. And rest assured, this 45 will be sold to the highest bidder! And the gradings are conservative. You will not need to upgrade.

Notes – EXCELLENT condition 45 (vinyl) - has no signs of playing and shows minimal spindle wear. Comes in the original Decca Picture Sleeve only available with the Demo version of the release. This is an original 4-prong centre (still fully intact) 1977 45rpm single from Cock Sparrer - their debut release. It has the Burgess / Lammin songwriting credit. The labels are Excellent / Pristine condition.
Issued on Decca Records. The original purple and white label.
The Catalogue number is FR 13710.
Run-out matrix numbers -
A side - ZXDR-61146-T1-1C / and B side - ZXDR-11647-T1-1C. Made in England. VERY EARLY & RARE PRESS.
Issued in 1977.
Both sides written by Burgess / Lammin.
CONDITION –
The vinyl is in EXCELLENT condition.
The labels are in EXCELLENT condition.
The sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition.
(Record Collector gradings).
The all important labels are in superb condition. There is no writing or blemishes, the text is striking and clearly legible with NO fading, they are in excellent condition. The spindle is clean and shows very little evidence of playing.
Many copies of this 45 when released were taken to parties and played endlessly, often scratched until they were unplayable. This copy however has hardly been played and has been looked after.
The most outstanding aspect of this copy is the clean nature of the whole item - the labels, the sleeve and the vinyl are all in Excellent condition. If played, there is very little surface noise and no static pops. This 45 single has clearly been loved and treasured by a keen collector (yours truly). The quality of the sound makes the playing of the disc a pleasure (if you have to!) with no allowances having to be made for its 40+ year vintage, which is astounding in itself.
The sleeve is the original Decca picture sleeve.
This single is so rare!
