One of the first exponents of Oi, Cock Sparrer still have a huge following today, and this 45 in picture sleeve is the Holy Grail of any Cock Sparrer fan, and almost any punk fan.
It captures precisely what punk was about for a few precious years during the second half of the 1970s. The second wave with GBH and all that weren’t in the same league to be honest, even though they could not have existed had it not been for the likes of The Damned and the Sex Pistols or even The Clash, especially early Clash.

CONDITION - The vinyl is in incredibly good condition – at least Excellent grading, with the sleeve at Very Good condition. (Record Collector gradings).
Quite why the Demo 45s were issued in picture sleeves, but the commercial release wasn't, and therefore worth only a fraction of this issue, I've never quite understood.
The all important Decca labels are in superb condition. There is no writing or other blemishes, the text is striking and clearly legible with NO fading, they are as pristine as the day they left the factory. The spindle is clean with no evidence of wear and show very little signs of visible playing.
This 45 has been played only lightly and loved but also looked after - very rare where punk is concerned!
The 45 has been played only a handful of times meaning that the single can now be considered 'broken in' removing any factory residues from the grooves.
The vinyl is in great condition and free from any significant marks or blemishes.
The warmth of vinyl as opposed to CD gives the listener more of an indication of the sound that the band were trying to achieve.
The most outstanding aspect of this copy is the clean nature of how the record plays with no surface noise or static pops. This 45 has clearly been loved and treasured by a keen collector. The quality of the sound makes the playing of the disc a pleasure with no allowances having to be made for its almost 30 year vintage, which is astounding in itself.
The front of the sleeve is awesome. Probably one of the most memorable picture sleeves to those fortunate enough to have seen it.
This legendary 45 is becoming increasingly rare, especially in this condition.
