What About The Lonely? is an eight-track live set from slowcore post-rock pioneers Codeine who would pave the way for other 90s acts such as Duster, all the way up to modern outfits like homegrown revivalists Deathcrash. With audio lifted directly from the mixing board of their performance at the Lounge Ax in Chicago in November 1993, whilst supporting Mazzy Star, the set features road-tests of previously unheard cuts which would eventually appear on the following year's seminal sophomore (and subsequently final) album The White Birch.
