Formed in London in 1983 by John Balance as a solo side project to Psychic TV, the project soon developed into a full-scale musical group in 1984, when he cemented a partnership with Peter 'Sleazy' Christopherson. Christopherson had been a founder of Psychic TV and member of Throbbing Gristle. For over twenty years Coil had been at the forefront of European experimentalism and electronic music. Peter Christopherson has decided that, with the passing of Jhonn Balance, Coil cannot continue.

I?m presently helping a friend sell off his record collection. these records are, for the most part, very well-kept and very collectable! there is no way I can play-grade, review, or provide a lot of background info on most of these, but I?ll do what I can. feel free to email me with specific questions, but don?t wait till the last day! (I do have a life outside of eBay.)
I try to be fairly strict in my grading and I strive for accuracy (see my feedback). keep in mind that 7" record sleeves tend to be rather flimsy, so minor corner bends and ring impressions may be allowed in a M- grade. I?ll try to mention all significant flaws.
USA: SHIPPING & HANDLING via FIRST CLASS MAIL is $2.50 for one 7" plus 50 cents each additional, up to 8 (for more, request an invoice). MEDIA MAIL rate with Delivery Confirmation is only $2.50 for up to eight 7" records.
insurance is extra if you want it. uninsured packages are at the buyer?s own risk, of course, but I?ll see that your records are packed very safely.
CANADA & MEXICO: rates may be slightly higher than USA but less than overseas. ask first if you?re concerned.
OVERSEAS: I ship via AIR MAIL ONLY. no surface mail, don?t even ask.
S&H cost for most European countries is $5 for one 7" plus $1.50 each additional (up to 8). other countries may be slightly higher. I don't recommend insurance or registration for small packages, unless it is very valuable. but in any case, I?ll make sure your records are packed very safely.
