Description

Artist:  COLEMAN HAWKINS & BEN WEBSTER

Title:   “Coleman Hawkins Encounters Ben Webster”

Label:   VERVE ~ V6-8327.  Stereo pressing on medium weight vinyl, without deep groove.   Labels are black with silver text.

Personnel:

Coleman Hawkins, Ben Webster – tenor sax

Alvin Stoller – drums

Oscar Peterson – piano

Herb Ellis – guitar

Ray Brown - bass.

Condition: 

DISC:  Vinyl is gorgeous NM, a beauty!  The playing surface is immaculate, with a high luster, played a small number of times and handled with care.  Plays beautifully with superb fidelity.  Labels are clean and pristine. 

JACKET:  Jacket is EXCELLENT.  Front artwork is clean and bright.  Nice seams and spine.  Reverse has factory stamp mark at the top, and writing at the bottom right corner.  Not a cutout.  Overall a very nice jacket to accompany the beautiful disc.
