Artist: JOHN COLTRANE QUARTET
Title: “Ballads”
Label: IMPULSE. Label is orange with black text. Stereo pressing on medium weight vinyl. Catalog number is AS-32.
Matrix number is machine stamped in the runout area, along with “Bell Sound” on both sides.
Label states “PRODUCT OF ABC-PARAMOUNT RECORD, INC.” in small white text at bottom.
Jacket states “PRODUCT OF ABC-PARAMOUNT RECORDS, INC.” on reverse.
Year: 1963.

Condition:
DISC: Vinyl retains 100% of original gloss, has been played a small number of times and handled with care. Grades strong VG++ with a couple slight hairline scuffs on each side that do not affect the listening experience other than to produce a couple isolated soft ticks. No serious marks or issues. Fidelity is superb. Labels are clean. A very fine playing copy.
JACKET: Laminated gatefold jacket is nice VG+ to VG++. Front artwork is clean and bright. Bottom seam has a bit of minor scraping (2 inches at right edge), but not split. Right corner tips have been lightly bumped. Inside panels are clean except where the original owner made small pen notations next to the song titles, and approx 2 inch split at inner seam.
