Background -
This 10" MONO LP is a super rare vintage item! In general, 10" LPs are pretty hard to come by these days, finding one with the esteemed virtuoso violist like William Primrose, is rarer still. This item features viola and organ music written by various composers and performed by William Primrose on the viola with Vernon de Tar on the organ (recorded in the Church of the Ascension, New York). Superb performance throughout! The LP was made in CANADA and was released in the 1950s. This item is in remarkable condition given it's age (see below for details).-

CONDITION Details:
The LP jacket is in very good plus condition. The jacket has one small seam split along the top seam. It has some hand writing on the front and back of the jacket, with some tape used to keep the seams intact, with some sticker residue. The corners and seams are solid, with some shelf wear noticeable - all in all, still a very nice jacket from the early 1950s. The colors on the jacket have a bit of fading due to age - (see pictures with this listing as they are of the actual item).
The LP is in excellent condition. Considering the age of this recording, we found that the vinyl looked excellent on this vintage, super rare LP. There are some light marks on the vinyl, but nothing that is significant. The LP retains some of the original gloss and sheen. There may be some dust and the odd finger print on the vinyl as well - not a perfect record, there is bound to be some noise on this LP, especially since 1950s vinyl formulas were never very good! Due to its rarity, this item is still very much worth owning. There are NO serious spindle marks on the record labels. That said, acquiring a vintage LP like this is for the performance and rarity of the LP, not necessarily for the sound quality. A Short Note About LP GRADING -- Mint = Only used for sealed items.
- Near Mint = Virtually flawless in every way.
- Near Mint Minus = Item has some minor imperfections, some audible.
- Excellent = Item obviously played and enjoyed with some noise.
- Very Good Plus = Many more imperfections which are noticeable and obtrusive.
For best results, always properly clean your LPs before playing them.
The LP is an audiophile quality pressing (any collector of fine MFSL, half speeds, direct to discs, Japanese/UK pressings etc., can attest to the difference a quality pressing can make to an audio system).
