MOZART Symphony No 40 In G minor
SYMPHONY NO 41 IN C ( JUPITER)
with the PhilharmoniA Orchestra conducted by OTTO KLEMPERER
vinyl LP on COLUMBIA SAX 2486 (Turquise and Silver label ) Uk pressing 1963
I have acquired a large classical collection of wonderful recordings from a very keen and dedicated collector.
They are all mostly from the late 50s to mid 60s - Something of a Golden Age in Classical recording
All records are inspected very carefully and Gradings are based on Record Collector magazine.
I try to only offer recordings in a minimum of excellent Condition unless it is something particularly rare when I will do my best to describe any visual or audible flaws

DISC CONDITION -
JUST UNDER EXCELLENT
Side 1 Visually JUST UNDER EXCELLENT
with 2 light surface marks on band 2 and a very light mark on band 3
and audibly JUST UNDER EXCELLENT
just very soft "tics" and very faint crackles in the quietest passages on band 2
Side 2 Visually EXCELLENT -
and audibly EXCELLENT with occasional very soft” tics “
2 light pops 1 for 1 revolution towards the end of band 2
Sleeve EXCELLENT - laminated - front with just light wear to bottom edge of sleeve
there is a small mark on the rear sleeve towards the middle ( see photo 2)
Comes complete with COLUMBIA company inner sleeve

Symphony No 40 and 41 were completed in 1788 in an astonishingly short period ( No 41 was finished in a fortnight)
This is a stunning performance and highly regarded recording
that entirely does justice to the genius of Mozart .
You will be pleased to learn there is no reserve and a lowish starting price
