Combo Xingu is one of the hardest LPs to find from the Chilean discography of Latin funk and soul groups from the 70's. Most Lps and books about America and American music were destroyed during the governments of Allende and later, Pinochet suppressed anything that was not following his political guidelines: soul and funk were not precisely conservative. The music is a mixture of soul tracks (there are two by James Brown), funk with typical bass and drum beats with organ.
