THE COMPLETE COMMODORE JAZZ RECORDINGS

Volume 1

SEALED limited edition Vinyl 23 LP box set. Mosaic Records MR23 123. Mono. COVER & VINYL: MINT still sealed, never played.

***PLEASE NOTE: Due to the very heavy weight of this item, Priority Mail International ONLY will be offered to overseas buyers.

Volume 1 of a three volume limited edition (2500 copies) boxed set compiling the complete recordings of the Commodore label, re-issued by the Mosaic Label. No indication of release year. The original price was 250$ per volume/box in the set.

The 23 LP's have no individual covers, but are bundled in two separate hard boxes that go into an outer hard box. Includes 64 page booklet with credits and company and artists history by Dan Morgenstern and interview with Milt Gabler included.

The tracks on the complete set are organized chronologically releasing the complete sessions held by Commodore from January 1938 to December 1943 - except for the first five tracks on record 1 that were recorded: 1929 (1-A1), 1931 (1-A2,1-A3) and 1935 (1-A4,1-A5).

GRADING. Grading is visual only unless otherwise stated. I go by Goldmine standards and try to be conservative. I will play grade on certain items only - it is just impossible for me to play grade everything I put on EBAY. MINT means factory sealed, never opened or played. NM is opened but in visually brand new, out-of-the-packaging clean condition. NM- is not NM! Its a grade above VG++ and below Near Mint - it does not imply perfect. In my terminology Scratches are feeler type and Scuffs are just cosmetic and usually inaudible.

DISCLAIMER. Due to the number of frivolous returns which were unwarranted, and due to the nature of sound recorded products that can be easily copied, there will no longer be a free return policy. I will charge a $10.00 return fee for all returns - this amount will be deducted from the Paypal refund of the returned item. If item is truly defective the entire purchase amount will be refunded as long as the item is in the same condition as it was sent.

***BUYER PAYS FOR ALL RETURN SHIPPING FEES.***
