Time to hang up my bins, I need the cash, I need the room. These are records I've bought over the years or had sent to me new as promos. You can see from the photos below what my front room looks like!!!

I've been DJ'ing worldwide for years and I now give DJ lessons in my own home and I've found that this really works for improving DJ's in a funky house style. DO YOU NEED A FEW DJ TIPS?

What I've done is constrct a ready-made set in order, bearing in mind that an hour's gig is between 12-16 records (averaging about 14 for funky house) I've listened to each of them individually and mixed them exactly in order myself.

Start strong in a set, with a blinder of a tune and end even stronger with a wicked play out track OK?

Remember to note which mixes I recommend for this mix. As you practice this set over and over, you must remember to replace one track with one of your own to keep the set sounding fresh and up-to-date (e.g. Shapeshifters - Lola's Theme would fit very well in this set) so when you buy a new favourite record you will create a well-practiced set which is bang up to date all the time.

• LENNY FONTANA prestents BYRON STINGLY - LIGHT MY FIRE this PROMO is a well-known tune funked up. Excellent set-opener as your crowd will recognise this and warm to you straight away! When you hear it (not Lulu), you'll recognise it too GUARANTEED!!
• MAUVE - CAN YOU FEEL IT?what a superb male vocal funky production, sometimes it's quite rare to find a male voice so clear as this! Mixes in beautifully.  PROMO 12" on BIG ROOM RECORDS
• RASMUS FABER ft MELO - NEVER FELT SO FLY- to follow we need another male vocal track to keep the crowd bouncing and here it is!! (*note* use ORIGINAL EPIC MIX gives you time to prepare yourself for the next mix as this is a nice long track)
• LAPSUS ft DRAGHIXA This has a terrific rolling nodding B-line.(*note* the PUSSY MIX as it sounds like Jaydee - Plastic Dreams!!)
• INNER SANCTUM - HOW SOON IS NOW?- wow do I have a treat for you here, this is the Limited Edition Funked Up Promo 2x12" DOUBLEPACK (You can't buy this in the shops) (*note* use any mix as they are all teriffic!!) UNPLAYED as NEW PROMO
• MATTEW MARSDEN - THE HEART'S LONE DESIREThis smooth male vocal Funky track is perfect for the middle of your set as clubbers order more drinks, 12" PROMO, (*note* use the KLUB MIX for this set)
• ECLIPSE - TAKE ME DOWN (& UNDERGROUND) - this classic piano & vocal house production is quite something else. With the terrific BINI & MARTINI mixes this 12" white label Azulii Promo sure sets the floor on fire. Check out Ebay for other BINI & MARTINI tunes, you will see they have a worldwide reputation!!
• FULL INTENTION & SHENA - YOUR DAY IS COMINGa huge underground anthem span by Morillo, Junior Jack & other top jocks worldwide! You need to look up FULL INTENTION in Google to find out how these top remxers have produced top tunes.  12" RARE PROMO (*note* use FULL INTENTION CLUB)  This also features the acappella for a DJ tool very uselful for learing to scratch or produce your own signature :-)
• BROWN SUGAR - WORK IT with remixes from the GLOBAL BROTHERS who play Ibiza each year, this HOUSEWORKS 12" is an IMPORT to the UK and scarce to find. You see how I look after you??!
• BENEFIT - WHAT'S IT GONNA BE?- This is a superb female-driven vocal house track, on 12" PROMO,  tune!! (*note* use STELLA BROWNE VOCAL MIX this diva has been in the industry before you and I was born that's how good her voice is!!)
• MOLOKO - FAMILIAR FEELING- Do not be put off by the name, these guys have it all!! Superb female vocals and excellent ROBBIE RIVERA'S DARK & SEXY MIX! (MOLOKO with custom die-cut outer sleeve and custom pink inner card sleeve -  looks real sweet!)
• JASPER STREET CO - ANOTHER DAY(EITHER MIX AS BOTH ARE GREAT!) and the dance floor will blow up with this terrific production! .. c'mon get the crowd going!! NEW 2003 Basement Boys 12" crediting TONY HUMPHRIES
• and to end on....JUNIOR JACK & KID CREME presents MAPHIA Ltd  - CHASING - a corking track, RARE 12" PROMO!! (worth £8+ because of the huge names behind this......gets all the girls on the dance floor, remember, get the girls on the floor and the boys will follow! This is a little treat to you from me. This reworking fits perfect to make the crowd remember your name!! TERRIFIC SET END!!
