Description
This 3 track Maxi Single has been in my collection since its issue back in 1971.It has only ever been played in a smoke free environment on Thorens decks and mostly with an SME tone arm so there is virtually no wear to the playing surface. In my estimation, this 7 inch vinyl is of a poor cousin to the better pressed LPs of the day because the sound quality on my analogue set up is not as crisp as the Comus LP which I also I have. The disc, I note, does have a surface mark - which does not degrade the recording at all, because there are no clicks or extraneous noises. There is the absolute minimum of marking around the spindle hole because the disc has never been played on a stack player. Lead in is crack and hiss free, between the tracks there is complete quiet, and the run off is fine too. The card cover is free of marks but there is a single 'fox mark' to the front by the head. For a Forty year old disc this one is in very good shape, I wish I had worn as well.....
