Description

COMUS Rare 1971 Original LP "FIRST UTTERANCE" Dawn Records, DNLS 3019 33.3rpm

In original sleeve with lyric songsheet insert. Produced by Barry Murray at Pye Studios. Engeered by Jeff Culver. Published by Our Music Ltd. Sole representation for COMUS: The Red Bus Company. Personnel: Roger Wootton, Glen Goring, Andy Hellaby, Colin Pearson, Rob Young and Bobbie Watson.

Condition: I am sorry but I am not an expert in grading records but would say that the condition is fair. It has only been played once since 1972 when it was tested to see if it was playable after having been stored for so long. It plays perfectly well although there is some static and surface noise in places on both sides but I am not sure if this could be reduced by cleaning or not. There are some light scratches and scuff marks on both sides whch I have tried to show in the photos but this is not clear. The labels are clean and unmarked (see photos). The lyric sheet is slightly creased and one side has a small biro mark near the top (see photo). The cover has two small stains at the bottom of the front cover (see photo) and the spine shows signs of rubbing (see photo) although there are no tears. The inside is clean and unmarked (see photo) I am perfectly happy for interested bidders to examine the record if they wish (Brighton area) and I will try and answer any questions. I actually saw COMUS play live in Bromley but cannot remember the date!

I will offer a full return if successful bidder is not completely satisfied with purchase.
