Hi, my name is Brian and I have been collecting vinyl for many years.
I am not and have never been a 'dealer' by profession, but I have always given honest descriptions and lots of clear photo's of any items I have sold. I do know how disappointing it is when you open that package and the item has been over sold with expressions such as "AWESOME" etc when the item is only in EX- condition or worse. If you are in anyway disappointed with an item from me you are most welcome to return it with a FULL REFUND, providing it is an honest and just mistake by myself as I believe in my descriptions.
SO HERE WE GO.......
For sale here is --COMUS--FIRST UTTERANCE-- UK ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING ON THE DAWN LABEL. 1971. STEREO DNLS.3019
SLEEVE.....GATEFOLD and UNLAMINATED. . It is in GREAT condition showing some signes of it's 36 years of age. It is very flat and square. The colours are very strong and vibrant LIKE NEW. The bottom edge has very light wear and has NO SPLITS, EX. The top edge is in even better condition with even less wear EX+. The front is EX with NO UNWANTED WRITING, NO STICKER TEARS, NO STICKERS AND NO RING WEAR, there is unfortunately some small brown spots, obviously some sort of liquid stain . The rear is in the same wonderful EX condition, with just a very little of the brown marks.(please look at the pictures below) The opening edges are in lovely condition with no tears and no feathering and are as new. The spine is perfectly readable but is a little scuffed and has wear at the centre. The inner gatefold is in fantastic condition EX+. The very tips of the corners show very light wear. All in all this is in wonderful condition for a sleeve of this age.EX
INSERT....In wonderful condition with NO TEARS, NO STAINS AND NO UN-WANTED WRITING. PERFECT apart from 1 crease.N/MINT
LABELS..... Original DAWN RECORDS. There is NO unwanted writing, staining, stickers, residue or tears. there are NO spindle marks on side A and only one on side B. MINT/MINT- wonderful.
VINYL....Both sides of this fantastic album still have their JUST PRESSED deep black shine. When you hold this album in the very brightest of lights you can see NO surface hair lines . In normal daylight this album looks PRISTINE. Both sides play WITHOUT SCRATCHES, CLICKS OR JUMPS. I have played this album on my very sensitive and revealing LINN SONDEK and the sound is UN-WORN, it is full and crisp there is NO loss of sound quality at all, wonderful sound stage and stereo seperation. There isn't even any dust or static crackles, almost silent run-in groves. This really is a great copy that any collector would be delighted to add to their collection, a real KEEPER . THIS VINYL LOOKS BRAND SPANKING NEW!! MINT/ MINT Astounding for a 36 year old LP.
