Description

Kina metal master - matrix K-185

Artist and track unknown (for now)

To say this is rare is an understatement - likely it's one of a kind. This is a one-sided metal part from the Kina label, based out of Kinshasa. Kina later became the famous Opika label.

Likely this is around Kina #90 but could be later - likely from about 1948. Music is an acoustic guitar duo with backup, mostly instrumental, terrific picking, bit of a muffled recording, but compared to actual Kina discs, which were poorly pressed, it sounds like these guys are in the room.

Condition: E+ (metal 1-sided master, plays wonderfully, would advise a spindle weight but not necessary - box will be a little heavy, likely 3-4 lbs)

I will be selling a lot of amazing discs from around the world in the coming months. Please bookmark me and check back in.

Shipping

ALL BUYERS - DO NOT PAY UNTIL YOU RECEIVE AN INVOICE

US buyers:
For 1-3 78s, price is $4.

International buyers:
Please wait for my invoice, as shipping must be calculated by distance and weight. I will not use the eBay Global Shipping Center for international shipping. Feel free to bid if you are an international buyer and standard shipping costs will apply.

I usually ship on Fridays or Saturdays. Please pay within 5 days.

NOTE: Because of the cost of good, new packing supplies, I must add a handling cost of $3.50 to each box.
