The Congos "Heart of the Congos" (Black Ark) Lee Perry
This is the classic Congos album, produced by Lee Perry and released on his own Black Ark Label. It is the ORIGINAL mix of the LP which is different from the mixes available on the "Go Feet", "VP" or "Blood & Fire" editions. This is Perry's original mix (Matrix KLP-005) which is stripped down the essentials, giving it a haunting quality. Hear it the way the "Upsetter" intended!
This disc is in NEAR MINT condition and plays beautifully.
It is now very hard to find, especially in such fine condition.
