ROCK A BYE BABY ROCK
Don't be fooled by the name Connie, but this is a rockabilly record by a GUY, not a gal. Connie Dycus cut for several different labels between 1958-'68, and this single of "Rock-A-Bye Baby Rock" is probably the best of them all. Released in November of 1958 this is the original Mercury promo release sent to leather-eared DJs who just couldn't be bothered to play this flashy little platter that winter.
On the flipside of this single you'll hear "Mind If I Cry." This is a promo – and both labels are quite clean.
