Conway is a US rap legend and Reject 2 is his latest album on Griselda Records. It is a sequel to his first mixtape The Devil's Reject and next to his own bars are guests such as Westside Gunn, Roc Marciano and Nes and other top artists from his unique musical world. The whole thing has been produced by Buffalo producer Daringer and is all the more remarkable given that at one time Conway couldn't rap as he wished owing to his Bells Palsy. Now back to fine form, he articulates over slow beats, harder beast, classic era boom-bap and plenty in between. It makes for a thoughtful album of rich atmospheres, great samples and killer hooks.
