Description
Corpus: "Creation A Child" 1971, USA/Acorn Records 1001. Disc has some light scuffs, plays M- or very close but it gets a VG+ grade to be strict. Cover has mild ringwear, no splits, this is VG+. Not a counterfeit, but an incredibly rare original pressing of this fine bluesy private press LP by the band from... Corpus Christi, Texas. This is the only first pressing I've had; there are several different fakes out there and some are really close in appearance... be careful what you're bidding on! This is an LP that will appeal to fans of guitar-based southern rock and rural rock; comparisons to the Allman Brothers are obvious, but they sound a lot like the Farm (Crusade) LP to me as well. Garish high school study hall cover art gives it the "name your price" look that old-school collectors crave. Rather a holy grail Texas piece here, easily as rare as Moving Sidewalks!
