Original 1st and only pressing from France of the debut album of the Poly-art Records label by romanian-french composer Costin Miereanu.

Some info on the release:  Original and very rare album from romanian composer Costin Miereanu on his Poly-Art Records label (Giacinto Scelsi, Iannis Xenakis, Betsy Jolas, Jorge Peixinho, Gyorgy Kurtag, Luciano Berio, etc.). Costin Miereanu on RMI Computer. 2 great pieces of avant/electronics music with B side the 27'10" long "Musique climatique" with organ, piano, percussion by Miereanu and text read by puertorican composer Francis Schwartz.

Born in Bucharest in 1943, Costin Miereanu studied composition, musicology and philosophy in Bucharest, Paris and Darmstadt. He moved to France in 1968, and was naturalized French in 1977. Starting 1981,  he worked as a university lecturer and artistic director for sheet music publisher Editions Salabert. Miereanu’s vast musical output covers many genres, but he has been using electroacoustic and electronic sounds in his music since the 1960s. His first LP was Luna Cinese on Cramps in 1975, for actor, reader and 2 turntables. Miereanu founded Poly-Art Records in 1984 with fellow Romanian expat Daniel Kientzy.

Condition: Vinyl lies in excellent condition, looks super clean but plays with crackle for an important part vg+, while cover lies in very good+ condition, with lamination getting tired at various points plus yellowing (have a look at the photos).
