Description
I'll be listing some great stuff over the next couple of weeks so keep an eye out. I'm mad about music so everything listed has been played all the way through (at least once!). I do try and describe every record in as much detail as relevantly possible and will not ignore/overlook flaws in order to hike up the price! My top grade is Excellent ++++ and this is for a basically almost perfect record (rest assured anything I grade at Excellent or above would probably be graded as MINT by a lot of other sellers)...records in this sort of condition do not come along that often, so I'm surprised to see so many graded as Mint or Near Mint (!!!????) which are mainly completely misleading. Even with new vinyl, as soon as you drag the vinyl out of it's sleeve those annoying hairline scratches appear and sometimes worse and even the packaging has wear/flaws. Anyway, I do pride myself in being as honest as possible and think if I was buying this record what would I want to know.
Extremely hard to find in any condition COUNTRY JOE AND THE FISH "I feel like I'm fixin' to die" 1967 UK FONTANA STFL6087 STEREO 10 track psych offering from nutty as a fuitcake Country Joe McDonald and the gang....sums up the psychedelic period brilliantly!
Matrix numbers 6087 1Y//1 420 / 6087 2Y//1 420
Condition
Sleeve
The colourful front laminated flipback sleeve is in great condition with very slightest of wear to the opening edge corners, the only imperfections on the laminated front face being a couple of small/slight/hardly noticeable laminate creases. The unlaminated back is excellent, extremely white with only a couple of small discolouration marks towards the opening edge. There is no edge wear, no wear to the opening edge (only very light thumbing), no tears, no writing, no stickers. The spine is excellent, square and perfectly readable with only the very very very slightest of wear to the bottom corner. Overall I grade the sleeve as Very Good++++ (if not better)(graded properly)
Inner Sleeve
The original Made in Great Britain Patents Applied For white paper inner sleeve has a few creases and a couple of discolouration spots Very Good+++ (if not better)(graded properly)
Vinyl
The record plays all the way through without skips, jumps, hiss, pops, with a little light background noise in places, only the very occassional faint click, and only 3 or 4 slightly louder clicks, none of which detract the listening pleasure....sounds brilliant played loud! There are a couple of very light surface marks and only hairline marks/paper scuffs when viewed at an angle under a bright light....none of which detract the listening pleasure as the music is superb! Overall I grade the vinyl as Very Good+++ (if not better)(graded properly)
Labels
The labels are in Excellent condition with numerous faint spindle marks.
Please bid with confidence as my descriptions are accurate and honest (check my feedback)...if ,however, for any reason you are unhappy I do offer a money back guarantee (less postage costs). All records are cared for and come with a new polylined inner sleeve and a 400g polythene sleeve. I always use professional record mailers with cardboard stiffeners and don't charge extra for paypal!
