I-Feel-Like-I'm-Fixin'-To-Die is the second album by the influential San Francisco psychedelic rock group Country Joe and the Fish, released in 1967.
The title track remains one of the most popular Vietnam protest songs from the 1960s and originally appeared on a 1965 7" EP titled Rag Baby: Songs of Opposition.
On the album version however, "I-Feel-Like-I'm-Fixin'-To-Die Rag" appears alongside "The Fish Cheer," which at concerts, became a Country Joe standard - made infamous from Woodstock where the chant was changed form F-I-S-H to a similar 4 letter word.
The title song faced a legal challenge from the estate of New Orleans jazz trombone pioneer Edward "Kid" Ory, whose daughter Babette claimed that McDonald appropriated the melody for his song from Ory's classic "Muskrat Ramble".
A 2005 judgment upheld McDonald's copyright on the song, claiming that Ory waited too long to make the claim.

Track Listing:
Side 1: The Fish Cheer & I-Feel-Like-I'm-Fixin'-To-Die / Who Am I / Pat's Song / Rock Coast Blues / Magoo
Side 2: Janis / Thought Dream / Thursday / Eastern Jam / Colors For Susan

LABELS: The labels are CLEAN and BRIGHT with NO wear, NO writing and moderate spindles (see close-up photos)
VINYL Visual: The vinyl surfaces still retain their original DEEP, GLOSSY SHEEN with some light marks/scuffs, none of which are deep or have any major audio consequence - the LP plays extremely well throughout
VINYL Audio: CRYSTAL CLEAR, DEEP, RICH and VIBRANT SOUND. SUPERB LP. There are NO scratches, NO sticks or jumps and barely any clicks or pops or audio interference and the many quiet acoustic sections on the LP play beautifully with the barest minimum of surface noise. Played, but not over-played with NO distortion and NO groove-wear this copy is graded a strong EXCELLENT for audio
SLEEVE: The original front laminated flipback cover is in EXCELLENT condition - The front laminate has a DEEP GLOSS and the back is remarkably clean (especially as it's over 40 years old). The sleeve is very flat with a straight and true spine with the spine text written off to the back as the spine is so narrow there is no room for any writing. All in all a very, very fine example
