"The Cramps emerged out of the first wave of punk music in the mid '70s, frequenting clubs such as world- famous CBGB. Led by husband and wife team Lux Interior and Poison Ivy, this garage "psychobilly” band incorporated a unique flair for coalescing camp, Link Wray-inspired riffs, B-movies and bizarre performances. In the band's self-produced sixth studio album, Flamejob, The Cramps return to their punk/rockabilly-esque style, and of course, ratchet up the sexual double entendre. First vinyl pressing since its very limited original vinyl pressing in 1994! Mastered for vinyl by Masterdisk! Faithful, updated rendering of original art! Limited edition of 1,500 200-gram vinyl! Heavyweight vinyl jackets foil-numbered in silver!" - Drastic Plastic

" Something of a return to form, Flamejob features the band's most committed, energetic performances in quite some time, with wild, crazed vocals from Lux Interior and sizzling guitar work from Poison Ivy enlivening some of the band's most entertainingly stupid and crude offerings, including "Let's Get Fucked Up" and "Inside Out and Upside Down (With You)." The failed stylistic experiments of some then-recent work are gone, replaced by simple, straight-ahead vintage Cramps psychobilly. Also featured is a cover of "Route 66."" - Steve Huey & allmusic.com
