Description
Crass - Our Wedding (7" flexi)
Crass Records - 321984/1F (1981)
Oh yes. The real deal NOT the recent hard vinyl pressing. Apart from the Jane Gregory 7" this is the record on most Crass collector's wants list.
I'm selling this without a reserve which I hope isn't a mistake cos I paid a lot of money for it myself a few years ago.
The record has a light crease on it but it doesn't go onto the playing surface. There's a bit of background noise when the record is played but nothing too serious. I'm sure the winning bidder won't want to play it that much anyway.
I'm throwing in a bonus as well - a copy of the NME from 13th June 1981 which has a piece on this record and how Crass fooled Loving magazine into distributing it. The paper has yellowed with age and there are fold marks but all the pages are there and it's worth a read to remind you of the old days as a spotty teenager.
Postage is expensive on this auction but the price includes fully insured, tracked delivery to anywhere in the world. Due to the price I'm hoping to get for this I must point out to bidders from outside the European Union that I will put the full selling price of this on the customs form for insurance reasons so please be aware of the limits on importing goods into your country for tax / duty purposes. If in doubt check with your border / customs department before bidding. Bidders from EU countries don't need to worry about this as no customs form is needed.
Grading (see below for a full explanation):- sleeve (none but will be sent in a plastic sleeve), record VG, magazine G.
Postage information:-
Discounts on postage are always given for multiple wins.
A small discount is also available if you ask for your records to be sent in a used mailing envelope before you pay for them. All mailers used, whether new or second-hand, are good quality. Each package has two stiffeners put in it and records are removed from their sleeve to avoid seam splits during transit.
Bidders from outside the E.U. - Any customs charges this item may attract on entry into your country are your responsibility.
Grading:-
I use the Record Collector grading system. I try to be strict but if you feel I've misdescribed something then I'll give you a full refund, including postage, on return of the item.
MINT (M):The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover is in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.
FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise. It may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
