While you’re saving up mega-bucks for high-priced ones on eBay…this one may do! I’m not a ‘Cream’ expert so here’s the details:
* LABEL: Reaction 594003 Stereo (blue label)
* MATRIX Nos: A2 / B3
* RECORD DATED 1966
* Sleeve laminated on front only. Not laminated on the back.
* With white square on back of sleeve with “This record can be played……” print
* Track titles printed in black and white
* Label publishing credits: Side One: Dratleaf Ltd / Immediate Music
* Label publishing credits: Side Two: Dratleaf / Apple Pub.Ltd.
* Eric Clapton – Guitar, Vocals / Jack Bruce – Bass,Vocals, Harmonica / Ginger Baker - Drums
* You could pay a staggering £395 elsewhere on eBay....or get this for a LOT less!
* Record has light scuffs (hair/paper lines), visible mark on side two doesn’t affect play. Few pops but it plays OK.
* Sleeve is very good to excellent. NO rips, creases or writing.
* Cream’s psychedelic – blues masterpiece! With its iconic trippy cover they took the blues and paved the way for all that followed.
* (Factoid: I supported Cream at the Savile Theatre in London on Sunday July 2 1967 with Jimmy Powell & The Dimensions….Wow! ;)
