Description

The Who Sell Out was Cream's debut album.  It was released on 9th December 1966.  It reached #6 in the UK album chart and #39 in the US album chart. You can find more information at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fresh_Cream.

The record has the matrix numbers 593 001 A//2 and 593 001 B//1, which I am told indicates that it is from the original 1966 pressing.  This particular copy is also the rarer mono version.  The record is not warped.  It has fingerprints and fluff and needs cleaning.  There is a faint (and I mean faint) scratch on side 1 that runs across tracks 1 and 2, but that's all.  I have not played the record for 40 years so cannot say what effect this has on the play quality; however, given that it is only a faint mark, I do not believe that confirm it will cause a jumps, stick or skip.  The labels have no rip, however, there are a spindle marks (obviously, it was played a lot).

As you can see from the photographs, the laminated cover is in good condition (see photographs 1 and 2).  There are some faint creases, but nothing major (see photograph 1). There is rubbing on the corners and edges, so if there was any writing on the spine, and I am not sure that there was, it is no longer legible.

The sleeve is the original and has no rips or tears.  There is one corner creases (see photographs 3 and 4).

I have owned this copy of the album since I bought it shortly after it was released in 1966 . I'd say that it is in very good condition and I am selling only because I am downsizing.
