Description
This is a fine original pressing copy of Cream's last LP before breaking up, released in 1969. Like the previous year's Wheels of Fire, this record is split between live and studio recordings, though this time the live tracks predominate. The gatefold jacket's mostly minor flaws are around the edges: some corner, spine, seam, and edge wear (EX). The disc is clean with some superficial scrapes, scuffs, and dings, none of which had any appreciable effect on play in the parts I tested (EX+). The record comes with a large poster, which has some pieces of scotch tape on it (mostly on the back), a couple of tears along the bottom, presumably from having been removed from a wall, and four small holes along the edge at the middle crease (VG+). (For those into minutiae: Most of the first pressings of this LP came with Atco's then-new spiffy yellow label, including this one, the MGM pressing ("MG"). One pressing, however, by the Presswell plant ("PR"), appears to have retained the previous purple and gold label.)
I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their sleeves. The sleeves have been stored in plastic sleeves. Many records were purchased new. Most were played just 1-2 times and taped. I have visually graded discs except where otherwise noted, and have tried to err on the side of caution when imperfections are apparent.
If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
