On offer here is a VERY rare Double LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Cream called "Wheels Of Fire" and is an ORIGINAL 1968 UK MONO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Polydor labels!!!!  THIS DOUBLE LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF CREAM'S RAREST LPs EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  BACK IN 1968 WHEN THIS DOUBLE LP WAS FIRST RELEASED - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS AS A 'DOUBLE LP' UK 1ST PRESSING (MOST WERE SOLD LATER IN SINGLE LP FORMAT!)!!!!  AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  THIS DOUBLE LP IS MADE EVEN RARER STILL - AS IT IS 1ST PRESSED IN MEGA RARE MONO (MOST WERE STEREOs INSTEAD!) AND WAS VERY QUICKLY DELETED IN MONO SOON AFTER RELEASE!!!!

NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS DOUBLE LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION OVERALL (PLEASE SEE IMPORTANT DETAILS BELOW!)!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1968 UK MONO 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS POLYDOR LABEL, 1ST PRESS 1/1/1/1 MONO MATRIX ENDINGS, 1ST PRESS 'MATCHING' INNER SLEEVES, AND 1ST PRESS 'E.J.DAY' GATEFOLD 'SILVER' MONO COVER!!!!  THIS DOUBLE LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Polydor UK 1st Pressing from 1968 and is in BRILLIANT condition overall!!!!  The records are pressed on THICK quality vinyl.  The Cat. No is 582 031/2 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Polydor label (see picture) and is a much MUCH rarer UK MONO 1st Pressing!!!!

The record labels to BOTH records (see pictures) are in SUPERB condition - with NO tears, NO stickers, NO wear, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!!  The vinyl looks BRILLIANT!!!!  And even under the closest inspection - it STILL looks BRILLIANT!!!!  It has NO scratches, NO hairlines, only 3 or 4 light scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!!  It is great to find that generally the records play as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, barely ANY clicks AT ALL, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!!  HOWEVER there is a couple of exceptions to this!!!!  For some reason 'White Room',  'Spoonful' & 'Crossroads' all plays with surface noise - though there is NO sticks and NO jumps AT ALL!!!!  And yet even under light I can see NO REASON for this AT ALL!!!!  So even though BOTH records look BRILLIANT and visually EASILY grade Very Good++ if not better - I am forced under my STRICTEST guidelines to only grade these records as Fair+ if not better.  Such as shame - as BOTH records look so very VERY nice!!!!  Believe me these records are NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The records also come in their ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Matching' inner sleeves which are both in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The ORIGINAL 1st Press 'E.J.Day' Gatefold 'Silver' MONO Cover is in GREAT condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear (apart from the usual fractional wear along the fold line!), NO rips, NO tears, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), barely ANY rubbing, NO sticker marks, NO nasty heavy ring marks, NO annotations, and NO writing!!!!  The only other thing to mention is the 'silver foil' outside does have some 'texturisation' & wear which I have seen before on the really early silver covers.  However this is certainly VERY easy to overlook, and I would DEFINITELY rather have this cover, than ANY cover with the nasty 'ringmarks' often seen on this cover type!!!!  The opening edges are beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!!  Even the inside of the cover is in BRILLIANT condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, NO ringwear, barely ANY rubbing, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not better - and is still a very VERY decent cover indeed!!!!  THIS DOUBLE LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE (ESPECIALLY IN MEGA RARE MONO!) - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
