Description
This is an Auction for the second Lp by Cream released in the Uk in 1967 on Reaction records Catalogue number Reaction 594 003. This is a first press in Mono with A1 and B1 matrix numbers and comes with the very very rare sleeve which is laminated on both sides. The great thing about this copy is the quality of the audio which is superb !!
The Solid first press Vinyl is visually in Very Good++ condition with a lovely sheen and only a few light superficial marks which have no impact on the audio. The record sits nice and flat on the turntable and plays through without any skips or jumps. On my system i cannot even hear any clicks or ticks. There is some occasional very very light background noise but on the whole this album plays exceptionally well and thunders highlighting that this is the only way to really appreciate this magnificent record . Overall i would grade the Audio as Excellent+ if not better for a 43 year old Lp. It is simply a SUPERB listen.
The labels are in Excellent condition with a couple of light spindle marks.
The rarest E.J Day first press double laminate sleeve is in at least Very Good++ condition is not better. The colours are clear and vivid and it looks great. There is some light storage wear to the corners, some very light ringwear and a few small creases but overall is looks really good especially when you consider that it is 43 years old.
The Lp comes with its original inner sleeve British Patent No 800513 and 073939 which is also in very good condition. The Lp will be sent in a new inner sleeve seperate from the main sleeve to avoid tears.
OVERALL A SUPERB COPY OF THIS RARE LP.

Grading:- MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
