"WHEELS OF FIRE" D/LP
1969 USA stereo pressing on the
yellow ATCO label
SD 2-700
with a mega rare mispressed cover!
Cover: This is the 1969 silver-coloured ATCO manufactured widespine gatefold cover. Just a handful of these covers had the track listings and other information, on the inside of the cover, printed upside down.
The printers therefore decided to provide a replacement insert rather than scrap the mis-pressed covers. See photos.
The original mispressed cover and replacement insert are both in Very Good condition - although the original cover does have some heavy wear to the base of the spine. Still has the original gold coloured RIAA 'Golden Record Award' sticker on the front cover.
Inner sleeves: Both ATCO 'ads' inner sleeves are in VG condition
Labels: Excellent+. No writings, stckers or doodles.
Vinyl: Not play tested. Nice sheen. Both records look to be in VG condition.

Gradings.......
Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.
Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratches.
Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and more significant scratches.
Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump.
Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc
Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
