Description
This is a gorgeous near-perfect copy of the very first 1969 Hollywood pressing of CCR's Bayou Country on Fantasy 8387. True first pressing with the band name split into two lines on the label. All subsequent pressings had it on a single line. These copies are very rare, and this one is in absolutely amazing condition. Still in the original shrink with the rare hype sticker, the cover and disc are almost perfect mint. There is one very small surface mark I can see on the vinyl but it makes no sound. This copy plays pretty much mint. The cover also is just about mint, with just a touch of very minor wear along the open edge. This is a copy that is almost impossible to beat, except with a sealed one. But then you wouldn't be able to tell if it was this original pressing or a slightly later one. Anyhow you will be amazed by how beautifully this plays, and how perfect it looks.
