Description
This is the 1969 Stereo Vinyl LP released by Fantasy Records of Willy and the Poor Boys (8397) by Southern Rock legends "Creedence Clearwater Revival". This popular record produced such CCR hits as "Down on the Corner", "Cotton Fields". "The Midnight Special" and Fortunate Son" among others. It doesn't get any better than this! The vinyl is in exceptional condition produces a flawless stereo sound without a hitch on both side and is rated a strong NM as to condition.
The outer jacket features awesome photography by Basul Parik (famed photographer for CCR) the band performing on front and back with traditional instruments (this was a a staged photo shoot arranged by Basul). The front cover shows some storage wear and some faded spots on front cover (see photos). The back cover is very nice indeed (worthy of being framed for one so inclined). The jacket has some soft corners and some edge nicks on edge where record is inserted. This jacket warrant a VG+ as to overall condition and does not have any seam splits. Original generic inner sleeve (no slits) plus new generic sleeve are included as is a new quality poly slip-on outer sleeve to help keep this gem another 47+ years.
