This is an exceptional audiophile quality Japanese pressing of Creedence Clearwater Revival, Cosmo's Factory. This LP was pressed and released in 1978 in Japan by Victor Music Company Ltd (JVC-Japan Victor Company), the entity responsible for the pressing production of MFSL audiophile LP series.  The LP was pressed on virgin vinyl with the vinyl translucent, with light passing through vinyl. This LP was purchased by me used a number of years ago and was played maybe once or twice. Very few of these early JVC pressings have been available for sale on EBAY or anywhere else in the US. The original lyric insert is present but not the OBI. Please note that this pressing by the same entity that produced the MFSL series for release in the US, was pressed under license by Victor Music from Fantasy Records, the group's US record company, two years before the LP was released in the US via MFSL. This pressing is exactly same type pressing as was pressed by Victor Music for MFSL. I have also owned the MFSL version and this pressing is every bit as beautiful as that one. Please note that the same MFSL version has a near mint value of $70.

As to grading, I grade very conservatively following Goldmine Record grading standard. Except that for records that are a notch below near mint, rather than VG ++, I prefer to use grade of Excellent. I do not use VG++ grade in addition to Excellent grade as is done by some.

The LP visually is in beautiful near mint condition and plays beautifully quiet as tested using headphones. Please note that LP was cleaned before testing which was done few weeks before listing and done by hand and not machine. It should be cleaned again before listening. The cover is in excellent condition with very slight wear on the corner tips. The seams and spine are strong with no real wear evident, except for a slight crease at the lower corner at mouth, with no splits and the product information clearly readable on the spine. The front and back of cover are exceptionally clean.

The LP is being sold without reserve and payment is expected within 3 days of auction close. Return of the LP will only be accepted if the same LP sold and shipped is returned. Buyers that behave in a less than ethical or unreasonable manner will be reported and blocked from participation in future auctions.
