Description

Artist : CREEPY LAYNE

Title: Let the Rebels Rock

Label:  XYZ Records 20.020 (1981?)

Southern rock from Florida only released in Germany.  Apparently part of the German fascination with American southern rock of the era like Mammoth and Gator.  Hard and heavy guitar leads all over the place.  Excellent heavy Southern Rock like Molly Hatchet & Lynyrd Skynyrd! Great double lead and slide guitars! This is the only one record of the band. The most wanted private Southern Rock LP made in Germany. Never released on cd. All tracks are own tracks, recorded in Nuremberg, mixed and mastered in Jacksonville / Florida. This copy has the rare insert in Mint condition. Listen to Southbound Ride and Black Friend.

Reasonable Reserve.

Vinyl: EX

Cover: VG++ (small sticker tears on upper right front)

I am not a professional dealer; just trying to finance my vinyl habit by thinning the herd after upgrades and trades.  I try my best to grade these honestly under bright light and most of the time after a recent spin. I grade conservatively to avoid the disappointments I have experienced on eBay.

Graded according to Record Collector Grading System (please see below for details)

Thank you for bidding on my auction or even just for stopping by!!!!  Please ask all questions BEFORE bidding and do not bid if any policies or questions remain unclear.  I will gladly and cheerfully answer all inquiries and love to chat about early 70s obscure heavy rock. Feedback promptly returned to close transaction.

Thanks to Record Collector Magazine for use of this Grading scale. I use the symbols (+/-) or (++) in some cases to enhance detail.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
