Eugène Delouche (1906-1975) was a shoemaker from Martinique. There, whenever Stellio had other gigs,
Delouche replaced him. In the end, Stellio asked him to come to Paris to play with him at the Exposition Coloniale of 1931.
He mainly played at the cabaret 'La Boule Blanche' where he had his own orchestra as from 1935, the 'Orchestre Dels' Jazz Beguine'.
Under this name he made many records. However, in 1937 he recorded under the name 'Orchestre Typique Martiniquais, Dir. E.Delouche',
therefore this particular recording here should be from that year.
In his last years he worked as a taxi driver in Paris who also repaired shoes at home for the people in the neighborhood.
A super hot instrumental here. Clarinet, banjo, piano, superb acoustic guitar solos, too.

needle, using no noise reduction for grading.
Grading scale for 78s according to VJM standards: N- E+ E E- VG+ VG VG- G+

No packing charges. We sandwich your discs between several squares of stiff corrugated
cardboard, then use bubble wrap around and pack inside a sturdy record mailing box with
more padding material for safe transport.
