Description
CRESSIDA LP 1970 UK Vertigo ‘Swirl’ VO7 original and rare first pressing bearing the, A PHILIPS RECORD PRODUCT on the label as identifier.
The photos have been taken to comprehensively display the condition of the outer & inner sleeves and the vinyl within this LP. Comparisons I have made give a very favourable view of the outer gatefold sleeve which maintains the original integrity, despite the reputation it has for wearing: inner sleeve has a little creasing.
True to Vertigo's reputation for producing high-quality vinyl pressings, the vinyl has an overall good stereo sound quality, the main blemish being a few seconds of crackling at the start of the first track, B side, otherwise, on my set-up, just the sound of vinyl playing during change of tracks or very quiet sections. (My usual listening is digital)
So, commensurate with age and usage, I have rated this overall VG+.
