Description
TITLE/ARTIST: This super rare and highly collectible 1961 LP release by the '60's group, The Crests -- featuring Johnny Maestro -- is on the original, red colored, Coed Label and is in very nice condition -- especially the vinyl -- in MONO. The album is entitled, "The Best Of The Crests---16 Fabulous Hits" and features 16 great songs from this early R'n'R/DooWop group, and comes from my very own personal collection. It is just one of many nicely conditioned LPs I'll be listing in the coming days/weeks ahead---I've already listed LPs by The Chantels, The Cleftones, The Coasters, Eddie Cochran, and Freddy Cannon amongst others. As mentioned already, this LP is in very nice condition (again, especially the vinyl), and features 16 great songs including their hit singles, "16 Candles", "The Angels Listened In", "Trouble In Paradise", "Isn't It Amazing" and "Step By Step'" among others. Please view the pics below, read about the LP's condition, and judge the conditions for yourself. LABEL INFO: It is on the original Coed Label, LPC-904, in MONO, and in my opinion, in beautiful shape. I don't even see that many spindle marks around the center circle which indicates to me very moderate play. VINYL INFO: The vinyl is extremely shiny, clean and nice with nothing really negative to report at all -- I see it as being practically as nice as the day it was 1st purchased. JACKET INFO: Likewise, the jacket is mostly "very good" with no real serious flaws either---although there are a few small scuff marks in the corners and some light signs of normal wear primarily on the backside. Again though, none of this appears all that serious to my eyes---and I've been collecting records all my life! So, please view all the pictures below and judge everything for yourself. INTERESTING FACTS: You just don't see these early 1950-60's LPs out there very much anymore, espiecally in this kind of shape, so please have at it. In addition, I have listed---and will continue to do so---many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and some C&W LPs/45's, too. I am selling off my personal collection, and there are many more records of all varieties to get to yet. Many of these still to be listed records are quite rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. GOOD LUCK BIDDING!! When attempting to view my pictures, please be a little patient as they do take a few seconds to fully focus---but they do come in. And, if anyone ever needs more info than what is listed, please email me. I will respond! POSTAGE/HANDLING CHARGES: In the United States, the buyer agrees to pay $4.00 (Media) for the first LP purchased, and then just $1.00 per LP after that-----so, buy in quantity and save. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are listed in the shipping category below--$16.00 for the 1st LP and then just $4.00 per LP after that. Please continue to check out "rogersrecords" on ebay for future collectible records of all types. There are many more to come!
