Description

Here we have for sale an original UK 1st press copy of the live concert recording made of Crosby Stills Nash  & Young - 4 Way Street at Fillmore East, June 1970. Released on the Atlantic Plum & Orange label - the playback reveals a live concert atmosphere and a real sense of the musicians' interaction on stage - close your eyes and you are there in the audience -a wonderful recording!
Both records have been ultrasonically cleaned in our amazing Degritter and the vinyl has come up spotless and shiny with some very light scuffs and tiny hairlines ( non feelable) that do not affect playback.  The labels and spindle holes are clean with light trails visible - see photos.
The vinyl plays through well with a warm, analogue tone and some light noise in places, typical of vinyl of this age, but nothing that spoils the enjoyment. No jumping or sticking.
The gatefold sleeve with textured inner is starting to show its age with shelfwear to edges and corner rubbing, wear to spine and ringwear. There is some old tape residue to the top corners. No writing, stains or tears.
The 4 page lyric insert sheet is also included ( slightly age discoloured)
Finally the original paper inner sleeves are present, however we have popped the records into brand new poly lined inner sleeves to keep the records pristine after cleaning - you will receive both.
A lovely copy to own play and enjoy for years to come - fully cleaned, playtested and ready to pop straight onto your turntable.
