Description
I am selling my personal record collection. This collection consists of many MFSL and Japanese or European pressings. All have been meticulously cared for and stored. All records were only played on high-end turntables that were properly set up for correct stylus force and tracking angle thereby reducing wear. Records play with no more noise than was present the day they were first played. They are very quiet. Records were only stored in vertical, (upright) position in plastic sleeves reducing cover wear. Most records have been played very few times, in most cases less then ten times. I have several records that are still sealed. All records were originally purchased by me. All listings are detailed to the best of my ability. Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions.
Item Description
"Deja Vu" is a timeless masterpiece of classic rock! It's the crowning achievement of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young (CSN&Y), arguably one of the greatest rock bands of all time. Much of their fame and durability over the past 30 years can be traced to this album, which was originally released on vinyl in 1970. It contains some of their most outstanding and famous songs, including the rock anthems "Carry On" and "Woodstock," David Crosby's tongue-in-cheek "Almost Cut My Hair," Stephen Stills' forlorn ballad "4 + 20". Every song shows CSN&Y's tremendous dynamism, versatility and musical maturity. Superbly intelligent lyrics, great guitar riffs (especially Greg Reeves' bass riff in the song "Deja Vu"), beautifully crafted harmonies, and Dallas Taylor's sizzling percussion all converge to make every song on this album a rock masterpiece.
This is an out of print Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs limited edition pressing. MFSL records are audiophile quality recorded from the original master tapes. Pressed at the Victor Company of Japan (JVC) on “Super Vinyl” at half speed. A “Super Vinyl” record is a pure virgin vinyl record. Each title was limited and quickly became highly sought after by collectors. MFSL albums are first class productions from the sound to the packaging.

Condition Grading
Still Sealed (SS)
Near Mint (NM)
A Near Mint record is a nearly perfect record. Many dealers won't give a grade higher than this, implying (perhaps correctly) that no record is ever truly perfect. The record should show no obvious signs of wear. An LP jacket should have no creases, folds, seam splits or any other noticeable similar defect. No cut-out holes, either. And of course, the same should be true of any other inserts, such as posters, lyric sleeves and the like. Basically, an LP in Near Mint condition looks as if you just got it home from a retail store and removed the shrink wrap.
Very Good (VG)
Generally worth 50 percent of the Near Mint value. A Very Good record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Slight warps that don't affect the sound are OK. The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable. The center hole will not have been misshapen by repeated play. LP inner sleeves will have some slight ring wear, lightly turned-up corners, or a slight seam split. An LP jacket may also have slight signs of wear and may be marred by a cut-out hole, indentation or corner indicating it was taken out of print and sold at a discount. In general, if not for a couple minor things wrong with it.
Good (G)
Generally worth 25 percent of the Near Mint value. Many of the defects found in a VG record will be more pronounced in a Very Good disc. Surface noise will be evident on playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound. Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers. However it will not have all of these problems at the same time, only two or three of them.
