Rise Records 179-1 from 2012 with eleven ultra-heavy tunes in all. Crown The Empire is a 7-piece band from Dallas TX. Starting in 2010, the band combined their love for the hardcore genre with infectious, loud, and powerful choruses of generations before their own, and ultimately created a fresh new approach to heavier music. There is a lot of balance between heavy riffs, synth work, and a good vocal blend. The music itself pushes a nice blend.There's a fair share of synth and keys, whether it be driving strings to electronica-esque aggressive tones. There are metal licks, breakdowns, even nice hard rock leads. The guitar work is eclectic, drawing inspiration from all styles of modern metal bands. The cover is VG++. The vinyl, visually, is NEAR MINT. It does have a visible warp but it does not affect play.
