Description


UK LP: Rimsky-Korsakov Scherezade, ANSERMET, London blue back CS 6018  ED1 Stereo. This is the original 1st stereo edition made in the UK by Decca for export to the US in 1961. The matrix ends with "-2E" on Side 1 and "-2E" on Side 2. 

Outer cover/sleeve/jacket/box grade:  VG+; the blue back outer sleeve shows minor corner, edge and general storage wear and a sticker scuff on upper front right corner.

Vinyl grade:
Visual grade: NM-; the record looks NM- under a strong light with full gloss, I can see a few hair  lines but nothing serious or should effect the play . I can see only a couple of spindle trails on each label.  [Please note that any marks shown on the high-resolution photos are lint and dust and are not any scratches.  Any marks that I may describe do not show up even on high-resolution photos.]  This is a really nice looking record.
Play grade: NM- this is a visual grade

  • EXCELLENT means more significant wear but nothing serious, or more than a couple light marks and/or a few hairlines
  • Very Good has more serious wear but it's definitely not garbage, LP has marks and hairlines marks.
  • Good Plus and Good start getting into  category but still playable/enjoyable if you aren't picky
  • Poor is definitely a hole filler
