Description

Old eBay prices: $486 + $456 + $422. I guarantee: this original first pressing has NEVER BEEN PLAYED. The sleeve shows minimal wear from handling (see scans) but the VINYL IS UNPLAYED, 100% unplayed. Here's your chance to bid on one of the rarest 7” releases by the CURE. As you know only promotional records exist. This record was only released in France but some of these 'Made In France' records were used for the German market. They have a sticker stuck to one of the label etiquettes and to the back of the sleeve....but it’s still a 'Made in France' pressing. It was issued on the 'Polydor' label in 1984 (catalogue 881 058-7). You can listen to 'Shake Dog Shake' on the A-side and the flip features 'The Top'. In addition here's the information taken from the DISCOGS website:


  • This is a promotional 7" intended for radio stations which was officially released in short numbers (200-300 copies) by Polydor exclusively in France. Some copies were also used as promo in Germany with additional stickers on back sleeve and label.


This one shows that German PROMOTIONAL-SINGLE sticker on the sleeve and label (see scans). You will not find a cleaner one!!

Mailing / Versand: all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits (alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden). All records will be shipped in special record mailers. Two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending. Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt.


Payment / Bezahlung: via PayPal. All orders which exceed a value of €15 or £12 or $16 will only be sent by registered mail. This requires the buyer to pay an additional of €2,50 or £2.50 or $3.00.
