It perhaps comes as no surprise that this album arrives in conjunction with a book-bound collection of David Tibet's favourite ghost stories and supernatural literature, as 'The Moons At Your Door' is a record haunted in the extreme. Always an outfit noted for their intense, hallucinatory and transcendent visions, Current 93 at this stage is essentially Tibet and longtime collaborator Andrew Liles, with vocal contributions from Alan Taylor, yet the eerie soundscapes and sinister minimal touches cohere to form a formidably haunted tapestry - part Gyorgy Ligeti, part Thomas Ligoti, and sure to delight longtime fans and scare the bejeezus out of casual observers aplenty.
