Cactus Blossoms - You're Dreaming LP
NEW. SEALED.
You’re Dreaming is the landmark label debut from The Cactus Blossoms. Produced by JD McPherson, the record showcases brothers Page Burkum and Jack Torrey penchant to blend elements of early rock ’n’ roll and classic country. Originally inspired by their fellow Minnesotan, Bob Dylan, these two began fusing these classic forms with their minimal instrumentation and thoughtful lyrics. The result is a collection of songs that stand among the great records of American music.
What immediately jumps out when listening to the ten originals on You’re Dreaming are their seamless harmonies. The duo shines a spotlight on the time-honored tradition of blood harmony, best illustrated by artists such as The Everly Brothers or The Carpenters. The Cactus Blossoms’ have built a devoted following with their infectious blend of rock ‘n’ roll and timeless country. With danceable shuffl es like “Stoplight Kisses,” “Clown Collector” and heartfelt ballads like “Queen of Them All,” You’re Dreaming is American music at its finest, rejuvinating a classic sound by a modern duo.
The vinyl LP includes a download card for High-quality MP3s of You're Dreaming.
