Hackberry Ramblers--Bluebird 6368


Original Cajun 78 RPM record, Bluebird B-6368, Hackberry Ramblers, Don't Ever Trust A Friend b/w Sonny Boy. Recorded 06 May 1936.

Record has been heavily played as is typical of most Cajun 78s from this period. Playing surface is dull, with numerous scuffs and scratches from use, and quite a bit of label wear as well, but no cracks. Small chip on left edge of B side but does not affect playing surface. Has more than average background noise corresponding with the surface wear, but still plays well. Despite the wear, still a nice pre-war Cajun recording and is in G- condition. Record is one of a small stack of pre-war Cajun 78s that were found in Port Arthur, Texas nearly 30 years ago. Please check my other auctions for more records from the same stack. Thanks.
