only a few Busy Bee records ever turned up around here in my lifetime, and this is the only Uncle Josh side I ever found.  Monkey On A String is arguably the rarest of his many recordings.  it is mostly a "laughing song" with his inimitable hearty laugh and references to the inhabitants of Punkin' Center.  as with most of these early disc recordings, this is pretty noisy; but plays through with no other issues.  perhaps someone can clean it up an post it to youtube for the rest to enjoy.  my own hearing has deteriorated to the point where much midrange sound is inaudible. I will be listing a number of Stewart records on early thick Columbia discs and a few Edisons.  these are all near mint or better from my personal collection.  also keep watching for Standard Discs and silver letter earlier Columbias coming up.  I will combine shipping as much as possible on multiple purchases.  you may need to pay as you go and let me know if you are bidding on others- it's difficult to do this over time with auction listings.  packed in cardboard sheets & new 10" pizza boxes as much as possible.  sent Media Mail for economy.  MJT
