From what I understand, Tiger Lily, a Roulette subsidiary, existed mainly for tax (evasion) purposes. Many of the albums were culled from demo submissions, and oftentimes the artists were never made aware of their album’s release. Seeing as how Calvin Keane has never released anything else (before or after this LP), it’s a safe bet he was one of these uninformed artists. The album is pretty nice, in my opinion, offering some well-written, although fairly standard, blues rock. Be sure to check the sound clip!
